Ways to Support Children and Adults With Anxiety

In this week's podcast, I address the topic of anxiety in children. Since the arrival of the pandemic, I have noticed as a mother and teacher how anxiety within children and teens has increased significantly. Many parents are seeking ways to reduce anxiety levels in their children. So I reached out to Tiffany McCabe, a Social Worker and Art Psychotherapist, who uses art therapy as a way of helping children, teens or adults manage anxiety.

During our conversation, I discovered how art therapy works and how it can address and bring great personal insight and relief into many other challenges we might be having in our lives as well.

During the podcast Tiffany recommends a couple of books:

The Art of Possibility, By Rosamund Stone Zander and Benjamin Zander

The Body Keeps the Score, by Bessel Van Der Kolk
